Reserve: To reserve your place with Mama Coca Expeditions, please send an email to with your name(s), the number of people in your group, which tour you would like to reserve, and the date you are looking to book your tour with us. After receiving your email, we will reply letting you know about the availability of your tour. Then, we will request that you make a deposit for each person in your group by clicking on the relevant button below. Please note that Paypal transaction fees will apply. Once you have made the deposit and know what hotel you will be staying at, we will schedule your briefing for your trip to meet the day before your tour in your hotel lobby. At the briefing, we will collect the remaining balance in cash (in US dollars or Peruvian soles). If you prefer to pay with a Visa credit card. Please note that for each credit card and debit card transaction there is 8% interest charged.

Student Discounts: Student discounts apply only to tour and hikes that end at Machu Picchu. These include the Inca Trail, the Lares Hike, Mantanay Hike, and the Salkantay Hike. To get the student discount, you must send an email at the time you reserve your place with a scan of both sides of your International ISIC card. Because of the strict rules of Machu Picchu National Park, we can only accept ISIC cards as a valid form of student ID.

Children: Please see each tour or hike for the discount offered to children. Generally, for children between 7 and 15 years, we will need a copy of their passport so that they can receive the child discount.

Huayna Picchu or The Mountain: For any tour that leads to Machu Picchu, it is possible to reserve tickets to climb Huayna Picchu or The Mountain. . If you decide to add this climb, we will add this to your balance which is due in cash in Cusco; there is no additional deposit that needs to be made for the Huayna Picchu or The Mountain hike

Terms & Conditions

All passengers must read their travel conditions before hiring the service. The advance of the amount agreed for the reservation of the service has no refund, because it will be used for the purchase of the entrance to Machupicchu and other expenses. The company reserves the right to prevent the travel of passengers who are under the effects of alcohol, narcotics or in case of serious health of the passenger in accordance with the conditions of the trip. In case that for different reasons the passenger decides to cancel the service with 24 hours of departure, the company will not refund 100% for the services purchased and expenses already incurred by losing the package without any claim.

The company is not responsible for the cancellation of the trip due to external weather reasons such as strikes, landslides provoked by nature that causes the delay or suspend the trip. If after the trip by train, bus, bicycle or horse occurs any blockage or impediment in the normal development of the trip, the agency does not take care of the extra expenses nor will it give back money for: nights of lodging, meals or services That have to be paid, etc.

Passengers who are not on time by the agency on departure or return will be entirely responsible, losing the service without a claim. Passengers who decide to leave the group or change their itinerary without informing 12 hours before will be responsible for their services. All claims must be made before or during the trip to see a solution but we will not accept at the end of the trip.

The company is not responsible for the loss of valuables or others during the trip, it is the responsibility of the passenger to take care of their belongings. The company is not responsible for any personal accident that the client might have during the trip.
